Casey and Amber and some Alpacas, Franktown Co.

I am one of the luckiest photographers I know! When Amber and Casey stepped out of the car, I felt like I had won the lottery! They are both so classy! I loved them immediately! The clouds and sky were just amazing this day!  I loved how all the colors in nature and that they wore came together! This is Amber's signature pose and I think at least one of the alpacas was trying to do it too! I love this one!   We did a few of their signature poses (which I think is absolutely marvelous that they have signature poses!), this one is Casey's and it had me rolling!  What I love the most is how Amber is looking at him! Everyone deserves to have people in their lives that look at you like these two look at each other!   I loved how curious the alpacas were about Casey and Amber and how wonderful they were with them.  It was so wonderful watching them all interact.  I couldn't think of a more perfect session!

Cecilia, Andrew and their adorable children. Oh and a few alpacas. Franktown, Co

Photographing with alpacas has been sooooo much fun! They are just adorable, sweet and have the cutest faces! And this family made it so much more enjoyable! These kids are downright adorable! And full of such personality - I was in love!   These kids!  Their reactions to the alpacas were just adorable!  There's a video on instagram about it too, I encourage you to go check it out!  So cute! Those sweaters!  They were so cute!  Hopefully they were warm because it was cold that day!  And out in the field with all the snow was so much cooler!  But those kids were amazing leaving their jackets off while we took pictures!  I personally would have frozen and just fallen over without my jacket! I love LOVE this light!  If the kids hadn't been warmly bundled in a wagon, I would have thrown them in to the image too, but to make them get out in the cold was a little cruel.   For more information on High School Seniors, Portraits and Weddings...

Ari and her girls, Franktown

I was so excited to do these! And Ariana and her girls were the perfect people to photograph with the alpacas! Ellie and Katy's faces were so lit up when Andrea brought out the Alpacas! It was downright adorable! You wouldn't think it would be hard to set up this photo - person, alpaca, person, alpaca, person, alpaca.  But it turns out the alpacas have a tiny motor that propels them forward, so just as you get ready to take the picture the tiny motor starts and they start to move... I am not for sure about the motor, but I do know that the camera is attached to their need to move forward and I started to feel like I was in a 3 Stooges skit... set up, set up, set up, camera ready and on it's way up and move forward alpaca, repeat 3-5 times and maybe get a few images in between.  It was hilarious!   It was so wonderful working with  Crazy Hair Alpacas Farm !  Andrea was amazing and just the most patient person!  I love that she shares her beautiful alpac...

Jesse Senior Pictures, Denver

I was so excited about doing Jesse's pictures! I love photographing around planes, they are just so much fun! Because I don't have a plane and neither does Jesse, we had to find a place with planes... We went to  Wings over the Rockies  and it was so much fun!  So many different spots to take pictures, it was such a bummer we only had an hour.  And then there was the display with the X-Wing that we couldn't take pictures at, boooo! These with the wall of windows are so amazing!  I absolutely love that wall! I love this one! Jesse was such a fun and absolutely great young man!  He wants to be a pilot and I really hope that he is able to achieve that dream, his eyes just sparkled when he talked about it! We had plans to do pictures outside and then that day it was freezing!  And raining.  And windy.  We still did some outside because he brought his awesome puppy Lily.  We definitely had to make sure some of him and Lily were taken! ...
