CU College Graduation, London

I was so worried Boulder would be covered in snow!  But even with the snow storm the day before there was hardly any snow.  I was very grateful not to have to put boots on!  Especially because I was still having problems breathing after having RSV, who knew that would be a problem?? Not me.  Until that day when I couldn't breathe 😅
London was just fabulous!  She was just absolutely so fun to work with!  She said she hadn't done a professional photo session before, but 3 minutes in I was like no way!  She is a total natural in front of the camera!

This was about the time I knew I was dealing with a pro! 😅

London did a semester at sea and it sounded like the kind of experience that sticks with you long after you’ve unpacked your bags. I love that opportunities like this exist for college students to step outside the traditional path and fully immerse themselves in the world. How fun is that?

London is going to SMU in Texas for her Masters.  I love how ambitious she is!

We went to Chautauqua after the CU Campus and it was so windy!  I wasn't really sure we could do much there! But we did and it was a lot of fun!

I put my funny little oreo toy lens on and it was so much fun with the sun and the wind.  I absolutely love this image!
I know not all of these are "graduation" photos, but she was such a natural!  I just had to do other pictures too!

Sage's Senior Pictures, Boulder

When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! The locations she chose were absolutely perfect, and they fit her so well. And then, as if the day knew how amazing Sage is, the sun came out just for her. It had been hiding behind the clouds for quite a while, but suddenly it burst through, lighting up her gorgeous hair and giving everything this beautiful, glowy warmth. It honestly felt magical, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Photographing Sage was such an honor. She’s kind, authentic, and absolutely radiant—I just adored every moment of her session! She has the greatest smile! I love these in the water!  It was such a beautiful day! I love this one!  It is just magical! Her and her brother are so cute! I love these in the grasses!...

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. I can’t wait to share more from her senior year as one of my Influencers—she’s truly a star in front of the camera! I just l...

Isaak's Senior Pictures, Boulder

Isaak was so easygoing and genuinely amazing to be around!  He wanted his senior pictures at sunset in Boulder, which is always a hit or a miss. There’s just something about that golden light hitting the rocks and mountains that makes everything feel magical. The only catch? Everyone else thinks so too. I picked this spot years ago because hardly anyone goes there. But this time, when we showed up, it was packed ! I couldn’t believe it. I was like, really?? Why here, today of all days? As it turns out, a sweet group of friends was setting up for a surprise proposal right in the middle of our spot. I mean, adorable, but also, the timing!  But honestly, that’s one of the things I love about my job, something unexpected always happens. Whether it’s weather changes, running late, surprise events, or wardrobe hiccups, it's always a challenge! And every single time, it ends up being even better than what I planned. We wandered off a bit and found these incredible rocks off...
