Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Let me explain the image above - first this is not how I wanted the images uploaded, but such is life. The image above is Andrea's grandfather's car, a car that means a lot to her. We took this boat of a car into the city to do their engagement session. It had that old car smell, you know that smell - the smell of your grandfather's car! It was awesome!
Here they are! Aren't they adorable!
We went to Union Station, where they danced for me in the empty station. I loved how Andrea's dress flared out!
If you look closely, just to the left of the car (way in the back) you can see the Security Guard as he runs out to tell us "You CAN'T park there!"
Here they are with their wonderful dogs! And as usual they look great. The dogs however weren't aware they were going to appear on a blog so they wouldn't look at the camera.
