Newborn Photography, Austin Marie

Austin Marie was born on Halloween!  She is like the luckiest kid ever!  I'm pretty sure if there was "holiday" like day to be born on or near, Halloween is it!  You could actually have friends over for your birthday, because everyone goes trick-or-treating and it is so much more fun with friends!
 These first few images were so easy...

 ...it was once she got on her tummy that she wasn't so happy.  Poor thing!
 So in these next images, she was crying and very unhappy.  It just doesn't look like it!
 I loved these 3, I just couldn't decide which one.  Her face is so adorable on all of them.
 ...well, she was asleep... and then we undressed her...

 Finally!  Asleep!  But we still couldn't get her on her tummy.


 The hospital gave her the hat!  Isn't it adorable???
 Oh!  She is so sweet!  I almost wanted another one, that is until I looked at poor Amanda and Colby who are sleep deprived as any good parent of a newborn is...
 Aren't they an adorable family?? I love it!

 I so love the ring on the toes!  And I really love my new festively colored blanket!

 There was a lot of this, poor thing was confused why her parents were being so mean by letting this strange lady move her so much.
 But here she looks so happy (but don't be fooled, it was really unhappy transition face.)

She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Isaak's Senior Pictures, Boulder

 Isaak was so easygoing and genuinely amazing to be around!  He wanted his senior pictures at sunset in Boulder, which is always a hit or a miss. There’s just something about that golden light hitting the rocks and mountains that makes everything feel magical. The only catch? Everyone else thinks so too. I picked this spot years ago because hardly anyone goes there. But this time, when we showed up, it was packed ! I couldn’t believe it. I was like, really?? Why here, today of all days? As it turns out, a sweet group of friends was setting up for a surprise proposal right in the middle of our spot. I mean, adorable, but also, the timing!  But honestly, that’s one of the things I love about my job, something unexpected always happens. Whether it’s weather changes, running late, surprise events, or wardrobe hiccups, it's always a challenge! And every single time, it ends up being even better than what I planned. We wandered off a bit and found these incredible rocks off...
