Colorado Events Photography, United Power

So, I know it is totally dorky to like an Annual Meeting, but I love United Power's Annual Meeting.  They have some wonderful new projects like a methane to megawatts and a Solar Farm - they are very inspirational and forward thinking.  The weather was awful the night of the meeting, I thought for sure that hardly anyone would show up.  I was so wrong!  It was one of the most attended meetings, in fact they had to order more food because they ran out.  At times there were so many people I could barely photograph.

This little girl walked up to me during the meeting and says "do you remember me?  You took my picture at Joonbugz?"  Of course I remembered her - look at those eyes, how could I forget her eyes!  I couldn't believe she remembered me!  I think it was last summer that I took her picture and it was just a quick snapshot for Joni, the owner of Joonbugz.  So adorably cute!
That's a lot of pizza!  Especially after all the barbecue, corn bread and other yummies they handed out.

They had some wonderful door prizes (probably the real reason people came out!), like this Wii and a 40 inch LED Television set - I wouldn't have minded winning either of those!

The lucky winner of the TV!  She was so cute!  One of her friends had left and had given her ticket to this lady - just in case.  And even with 2 tickets, it was still her own ticket that was the lucky one.  She kept saying "I never win anything!  I can't believe I won!  I never win!"  I was so excited for her!

Sage's Senior Pictures, Boulder

When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! The locations she chose were absolutely perfect, and they fit her so well. And then, as if the day knew how amazing Sage is, the sun came out just for her. It had been hiding behind the clouds for quite a while, but suddenly it burst through, lighting up her gorgeous hair and giving everything this beautiful, glowy warmth. It honestly felt magical, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Photographing Sage was such an honor. She’s kind, authentic, and absolutely radiant—I just adored every moment of her session! She has the greatest smile! I love these in the water!  It was such a beautiful day! I love this one!  It is just magical! Her and her brother are so cute! I love these in the grasses!...

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. I can’t wait to share more from her senior year as one of my Influencers—she’s truly a star in front of the camera! I just l...

Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Turns out...
