Legacy High School Senior Pictures, Josh

Josh wanted to do pictures by a red barn and he is lucky enough to have a wonderful aunt who has a beautiful red barn!  She was so nice to let us use it!  It was absolutely wonderful!  The barn was so beautiful on the inside - although it was a little hot in there!  We didn't stay long inside, if we had our brains would have been cooking!
Josh was very nice and polite.  I knew he wasn't super excited about doing pictures, I think his mom had enough excitement for both of them.  His mom was so adorable about it!  She is very proud of him!





 He has the most beautiful eyes!  They are so pretty!
 As much as he didn't want to do pictures, he was pretty good at posing and super polite and patient as I moved him around and did tons of pictures!



 I love the twinkle lights!


 These little guys are so cute! 



 Ahhh!  Brothers!  I don't think Josh's little brother really wanted to do pictures, perhaps a couple of tads less than Josh wanted to do them.  But they were both really sweet and did them because their mom really wanted photos.
 There's his aunt photo bombing them! 
 I love this one!  It is so brothery!  And this is probably how they really are most of the time.
 And see, they were extra sweet with their mom too!  I love this one!

  I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

  Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Alex, Senior Pictures

  When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
