Denver Senior Pictures, Kaylee

Kaylee is such an amazing individual! She has so much personality, she is fun and vibrant and she definitely has a smirky streak! I love all of these things about her! As always, I had a fantastic time tromping around Denver with her! She was so willing to do everything! Sometimes I would say “I really like that over there, but….” And she would say something like - “you want me to hop up there?” Uhhhh….. yeah! I was secretly doing a super excited dances in my head!

I love these sunglasses!

These are some of my favorites from this session!  She just hopped up there and off we went taking a ton of pictures!  There was even an active wasp nest in the corner of the window and Kaylee stayed up there!  She was seriously dedicated to this window!

Love these with the sunglasses!

This wall!  And her outfit!  They were so perfect together!

I love this one!  She is such a natural!
I love it when family comes to a session!  And the best part about her brother coming was that I did his senior pictures a few years ago and it was so great to see him again!  And her mom was so wonderful to take pictures and videos of me!  It really was such a great time!

There are so many places tucked away in this area and I always end up somewhere different, it just depends on how many people are in certain areas and this day people were everywhere!  So it drove us into areas I hadn't been before and we got some fantastic images in these places.  It really renewed my excitement for this location!

I love this shirt!  I wish it hadn't been so warm so she could have worn it a little longer, but I am so glad we got some in it.  I was a little worried the background would compete, but then we found this spot and she looks so good here!

And then we found this!  It was like stepping out of an alley and into a mini desert, so stinking cute!
She was really done at this point... but we 1 more outfit and it was cute we just couldn't walk away without doing some in that one.  I'm really glad we did because it was awesome!
I love this one!

Elli, Senior Pictures

I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain? Gorgeous!   I was hoping for a rainbow, but sadly we missed that! Elli is such a joy to be around. She’s incredibly sweet, the kind of person who makes y...

Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Turns out...

Alex, Senior Pictures

When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
