Alessandra Senior Pictures, Littleton

I was so excited about this session! It isn't often I get to go to Hudson Gardens and it is always such a wonderful place! And then we got there... and it was like a pumpkin fest. I really wasn't even thinking about pumpkins, I mean it was the end of September. But they were everywhere! EVERYWHERE! And orange isn't exactly a blending background color... But I accepted the challenge, figured out ways and places to keep the pumpkins out of the background and actually had a great time. Alessandra was so wonderful and patient as I positioned and repositioned her! I definitely over photographed on this session, all because of those pesky pumpkins!

When I kind of jokingly asked Alessandra if she liked pumpkins and there was silence, I knew we had to really limit the pumpkins in the picutres, so these are the only pumpkins that I wanted in the background. Some still peaked out, but I really tried to keep them in October and not in our pictures!

The funny thing is this is my favorite spot and it doesn't really represent a garden at all.  But the light is always so beautiful here.  And I so love how natural she looks here!

I love these by the pond!

I love how saturated the colors were that day! Alessandra picked the perfect colors for this location!

I love this!
She was so down to earth and easy going, I love how she didn't panic about the pumpkins.  I am extra grateful she didn't, because I was panicking enough for both of us.  She just took it in stride and was still smiling!

I love this one!

Sage's Senior Pictures, Boulder

When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! The locations she chose were absolutely perfect, and they fit her so well. And then, as if the day knew how amazing Sage is, the sun came out just for her. It had been hiding behind the clouds for quite a while, but suddenly it burst through, lighting up her gorgeous hair and giving everything this beautiful, glowy warmth. It honestly felt magical, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Photographing Sage was such an honor. She’s kind, authentic, and absolutely radiant—I just adored every moment of her session! She has the greatest smile! I love these in the water!  It was such a beautiful day! I love this one!  It is just magical! Her and her brother are so cute! I love these in the grasses!...

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. I can’t wait to share more from her senior year as one of my Influencers—she’s truly a star in front of the camera! I just l...

Isaak's Senior Pictures, Boulder

Isaak was so easygoing and genuinely amazing to be around!  He wanted his senior pictures at sunset in Boulder, which is always a hit or a miss. There’s just something about that golden light hitting the rocks and mountains that makes everything feel magical. The only catch? Everyone else thinks so too. I picked this spot years ago because hardly anyone goes there. But this time, when we showed up, it was packed ! I couldn’t believe it. I was like, really?? Why here, today of all days? As it turns out, a sweet group of friends was setting up for a surprise proposal right in the middle of our spot. I mean, adorable, but also, the timing!  But honestly, that’s one of the things I love about my job, something unexpected always happens. Whether it’s weather changes, running late, surprise events, or wardrobe hiccups, it's always a challenge! And every single time, it ends up being even better than what I planned. We wandered off a bit and found these incredible rocks off...
