The A&E Wedding

The A&E wedding, named by the brides, for their first names - Andrea and Emma was spectacular! Shoes, shoes, shoes!!!! I love shoes! And I couldn't get enough of their shoes! And the outrageously cute ring bearer and flower girls! Everything was so wonderful!



Moth's are supposed to be good luck. Emma found this one attempting to climb out of sink.


Andrea and Emma's families were wonderful in their own ways, but both sides loved to laugh and cared deeply about their daughter's! This is one of the things I love about spending time with families, I get to see all kinds of intimacy! It is a wonderful thing to be in the middle of someone else's family - it's like a secret treasure! I feel very blessed to have photographed Andrea and Emma's wedding!












Bubbles!!!!!!Andrea and Emma are in a band, http://www.myspace.com/prayata, and they had guests sign their guitar. It was a wonderfully unique guest book.

They had this terrific choreographed dance! Very festive!

  I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

  Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Alex, Senior Pictures

  When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
