Golden Family Pictures, The Amazing D Family

These guys are amazing (and I'm not just saying that because their oldest is my youngests best friend).  They really are wonderful people.  It was quite the adventure with these 3 little boys!

The boys weren't really into having their pictures taken, but they kept giggling and looking behind me.  So I turned around and this is what I saw!  Too funny!
This is about the only image I got of them running, because right after I took this one Tyler and Zach were dragging poor Owen across the ground.  That pretty much stopped the rambunctiousness.
 Aren't they stupendous???

 Awwww!  Mommy time!

 No Daddy!  No!  No kisses!
Zach was very sweet and picked these tiny, little white flowers for his mom.  So cute!

As we were photographing Sarah and Ryan, Tyler decided that would be the best time to smile.  He was very excited about having his picture taken then!

So GQ back off!  I photographed him first!
You may think this is cute...  But you would be wrong.  He was actually trying to get his brother away from - by pushing on his head.  I have a similiar image of Nick and Makaela.  Makaela was about a year old and crying.  It looked like Nick was patting her head, but he was really brushing (rather rough I might add) the sand he dumped on her head off.

And this is how we ended.  He-he!

Elli, Senior Pictures

I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain? Gorgeous!   I was hoping for a rainbow, but sadly we missed that! Elli is such a joy to be around. She’s incredibly sweet, the kind of person who makes y...

Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Turns out...

Alex, Senior Pictures

When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
