Brighton Portrait Photography, The K family

I have been trying so hard to catch up after my trip away to Delaware.  I haven't even had a chance to look at the pictures I took there and I've been back for almost 2 weeks!  I can't believe how quickly it has gone!  And then when we came home, I hit the ground running and now I have a long list of blogs and galleries to get done!  It is all quite exciting!  So here is the first!
 
These guys were amazing and fun!  I had a wonderful time climbing the rocks and hanging out with them!   Will, the little guy was quite skeptical about why he needed to be doing this.  I thought maybe I had figured him out when his mom told me he liked to be in charge.  After that it was easy peasy!  When I let him choose what we did, he was very agreeable!  However, when I asked him if he had fun, he said he had fun climbing on the rocks and standing in the water, but not really taking pictures.  I guess he is just a kid.  And kids are just honest.  And I had a fun time climbing on the rocks too...

 
 I love this one!  And Will set this one up! 
 This is by far my favorite!  I think this signifies that Will is going places!  Big, high in the sky places!

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

  Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy.
