Denver Portrait Photography, White Fence Farms, Lori and her family

There are so many times I am reminded why I love my job!  And these guys definitely reminded me how much my job totally rocks!  They were pleasant, fun and gracious!  Lori's brother was visiting and they wanted to do family pictures as a large group.  Having just returned from vacationing with 9 of my nieces and nephews, it was nice to see more cousins having a great time together!
Lori really wanted to do pictures at White Fence Farms and surprisingly there is no policy against photographing there.  I was just giddy!  So many photographers have just over run all the good spots and those places have placed heavy restrictions on photographing there.

Oh Natalie--I love them so much. I have no words to describe it. We had such an amazing time with you and you were such a good sport (even willing to tackle the creek!) The photos are beautiful!!

Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

  Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. Alex, Senior Pictures

  When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
