Mari Senior Pictures, Blackhawk

 Mari was just the sweetest! And the funniest part? I didn’t even know I’d be photographing her senior pictures that day! 😂 Her boyfriend’s mom asked if we could do both of their sessions at the same time, and of course I said yes. Honestly, what better way to get a guy who isn’t super thrilled about photos than to have his girlfriend right there with him? It worked like a charm!

One of my favorite moments was when we were tossing around ideas for locations. Mari’s eyes lit up and she got so excited about photographing at the Central City Cemetery. I was like, “YES, girl!” I love when seniors bring bold, unique ideas to their sessions—it makes everything that much more personal.

Mari is such a marvelous young lady—she’s sassy, she knows what she wants, and she’s always laughing. Spending the day with her was such a joy, and I loved capturing every bit of that spark in her photos.

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

  Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy.
