Tracey and Larry and their wonderful grandkids

Ever since I was a kid, grandparents meant sooooo much to me!  My great grandma was my person and still remains such an important person in my life.  Whenever I do multi-generational family sessions, I always ask the grandparents if they want pictures with just the grandkids and very few take me up on it.  I still encourage it because people for who have grandparents, they are such an important part of our lives!  When Tracey contacted me and wanted to do pictures with her grandkids, I was over the moon!  She gets it!  It isn't just important for the grandparents, but the grandkids as well!
The older boys weren't very excited about pictures, but I hope as they get older they realize how absolutely special it is that they have these!



The smiles were a little hard to get out of these three, so I had them run and then there were definitely some happier faces!  Especially on the little guy!  He is soooo cute!  That face!  It is so precious!









I didn't really mean to over represent the little guy.... but I also didn't want to torture the older kids.  I get it, they weren't into it and I wanted to respect that. I do wish I had won them over with my amazing questions and thoughts 😂 But this time I didn't.
But look at this smile!  So amazing!

Isaak's Senior Pictures, Boulder

 Isaak was so easygoing and genuinely amazing to be around!  He wanted his senior pictures at sunset in Boulder, which is always a hit or a miss. There’s just something about that golden light hitting the rocks and mountains that makes everything feel magical. The only catch? Everyone else thinks so too. I picked this spot years ago because hardly anyone goes there. But this time, when we showed up, it was packed ! I couldn’t believe it. I was like, really?? Why here, today of all days? As it turns out, a sweet group of friends was setting up for a surprise proposal right in the middle of our spot. I mean, adorable, but also, the timing!  But honestly, that’s one of the things I love about my job, something unexpected always happens. Whether it’s weather changes, running late, surprise events, or wardrobe hiccups, it's always a challenge! And every single time, it ends up being even better than what I planned. We wandered off a bit and found these incredible rocks off...

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless.
