Denver Family Portraits, Jennifer and her lovely crew

Oh my!  These guys were the cutest things ever!  Even though it was much like herding cats (mostly the boys... totally the boys) I had the greatest time and I smiled for the rest of the day!  All three of them were so wonderful and amazing and had such great personalities!
 I love this one!






 I shouldn't have let them see the bubbles, they were poking out of my bag and they kept asking what are those??  Are they for us??  When are we going to go get the bubbles??  Can we have the bubbles now??  We had to break tradition and let them play with them half way through our session.  They were so super excited.  I caved!  It was those pleading eyes!  So cute!
 I so loved all the twirling she did!  I could have taken pictures of her blowing bubbles all day long!
 I asked one of the boys to do something and he said "why yes! My dear!"  I had to stop for a moment to compose myself!  It was so freaking adorable!  And then at the end, they all ran up to me and gave me a hug.  All I could do was smile!

  I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

  Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Alex, Senior Pictures

  When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
