Denver School of the Arts Senior Pictures, Josh

Josh is such a versatile and intelligent young man! He is an artist, a fencer, a voracious reader, he attends Denver School of the Arts and he is incredibly kind!
Sometimes you just have to let them be themselves!

Josh really thought about how and what he wanted to do.  The sweatshirt he is wearing is covered in paint and he brought all of his favorite paintings out.  It was wonderful how much work he put into his Senior Pictures!

I love the fencing images!  I had such a wonderful time!  And Josh did such a great job in the small space we had!  He was so patient with me as I worked to make sure all of him was on the back drop!







The fires in Colorado have made for some great late day skies, but not this day.  I had really hoped that we get those skies at the lake!  I love how comfortable Josh looks anywhere he is!  I wish for all my High School Seniors to be as self confident and sure of who they are as Josh is!

 When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Elli, Senior Pictures

  I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain?
