Boulder Senior Pictures, Taylor

It was so great seeing this young lady again! She used to be in plays with my youngest son and I haven't seen her for a few years. I have always remembered her by her smile! She has such a wonderful, delightful smile that lights up the room! I can't even remember everything we talked about because there was so much! She just has this knack for being amazing and making the time go by so fast, but feel so jam packed! I bet she is the best friend to have and just sit around and talk!
Those eyes!  They are so amazing!

I love that she had this white dress!  It fit so perfectly in this location!

Taylor had wanted wild flowers in her pictures and we weren't really sure we were going to get them, but we did!  I was so excited that we were able to get some!  I couldn't be happier that Taylor was able to get what she wanted!  She so deserves it!
I love her laugh, it is magical!

I love this one!

These on the path came out so great!

I love this one so much!

These are so cute!  And the best part was it hid most of the mosquito bites that she got all over her back!  I felt so bad for her!

There are so many things I love about these!  First, I just want to point out that the Avs had just won the Stanley Cup!  And that is awesome!  And now Taylor will always know what year that was!  And then I would love to just take a moment and look at those proud parents!  I just adore at how much they love her!  It is heartwarming!

Elli, Senior Pictures

I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain? Gorgeous!   I was hoping for a rainbow, but sadly we missed that! Elli is such a joy to be around. She’s incredibly sweet, the kind of person who makes y...

Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Turns out...

Alex, Senior Pictures

When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
