Denver High School Senior Pictures, Anna

This girl gives all the Urban Outfitter vibes that there are off! Oh my! I was like am I photographing the next Urban Outfitters star?? She is amazing and funny and goofy! I absolutely loved our session! I have been trying to get her blog done for days and days, but things keep happening and pulling me away from my computer! So annoying! But I am so excited now to be able to do it!

I am in love with this shirt!  The back is so cute!

17 is a thing for this one!  She is one of the younger ones, but there is something kind of fun and quaint about it for her.  So we did things with 17 just for her!

I love her smile!  She definitely had me on my toes with her quick mood changes, she could go from this to serious in a heart beat!  I almost got whiplash!

I had to really edit how many of these I was going to share, I am absolutely in love LOVE with all the ones we did here.  Anna just made it so easy to photograph her!  I cannot wait to work with her more for the Senior Model Program!

Usually I am annoyed at the wind, but her hair and the wind made it fun!
I really love this one!

I love this outfit!  So cute!

She just rocked these wings!  Again, I had a hard time editing down how many of the angel wings to include!  I wish I had tons of time to inlcude so many more!

I love this one!  Anna has such a marvelous smile!
I love the colors and her pose!  I swear, I could put her in any pose and she made it her own!  I was in awe at how versatile she is!

Elli, Senior Pictures

I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain? Gorgeous!   I was hoping for a rainbow, but sadly we missed that! Elli is such a joy to be around. She’s incredibly sweet, the kind of person who makes y...

Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Turns out...

Alex, Senior Pictures

When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
