Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After
rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t
acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day. There was just the right amount of
sparkle in the air—it was perfect.
Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young
lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she
showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of
enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was!
We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua
and the top of Flagstaff Mountain and soaking
in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄
I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of
mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Turns
out, working with mylar outdoors in the slightest breeze is a lot trickier than I imagined! But Grace was
so patient and totally up for the experiment. And the best part? She still looked amazing, even when the mylar
had a mind of its own!
That kind of session is my favorite—not
because everything goes exactly to plan (because let’s be real, it rarely
does), but because of the laughter, the spontaneity, and the shared joy of
creating something beautiful together.
Grace, thank you for your sunshine spirit,
your patience, and your incredible modeling skills. I loved every second of
this session with you and can’t wait to see all the amazing things your senior
year holds!
I love this one!
Her smile is so amazing!
The mylar... I plan on playing more! Because really this was fun!
At a previous session on Pearl Street, I saw the pouf Grace is sitting on. I went back to buy it and I am so glad I did!

I love this one!
