Senior Influencer Teams and why they are the best!

Every year, one of the most fun and rewarding parts of my job is getting to work with my senior influencer team. These are the seniors who are excited about their final year of high school, who want to capture it in a big, bold, beautiful way — and who are up for a little adventure, creativity, and connection along the way.

Being part of my senior influencer team isn’t just about getting your senior pictures taken (although that’s a huge bonus). It’s about joining a community, building confidence, and getting to be part of something that’s way more personal than a one-time session.

We laugh a lot. We create magic in the wildest places (yes, sometimes that means throwing donuts around at the Denver Selfie Museum or dancing in the middle of a field). And most importantly — we build something together. You get to be part of the ideas, the styling, and the energy that make each shoot unique.

One of my favorite things is seeing how these seniors grow throughout the year. I get to witness them become more confident, more comfortable in front of the camera, and more sure of who they are. They show up as themselves — goofy, quiet, wild, chill, whatever — and I get to help them shine in that.

And I’ve seen the friendships that form. Even if they go to different schools, there’s this connection that happens when you’re part of a creative team like this. I love seeing seniors cheer each other on, hype each other up, and celebrate their individual style and stories.

So, if you’re a senior thinking about your senior year and you want something more than just a couple hours in front of a camera, I’d love to have you on the team. Come be part of the experience. Let’s create images that are more than just pretty — let’s make them you. And let’s make some unforgettable memories while we’re at it.

Elli, Senior Pictures

I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain? Gorgeous!   I was hoping for a rainbow, but sadly we missed that! Elli is such a joy to be around. She’s incredibly sweet, the kind of person who makes y...

Tanner's Senior Pictures, Boulder

This young man! He is fantastic! I loved that he knew what he wanted and we were able to find some marvelous spots!  Look at those colors!  They were so amazing!   I did Tanner's  sisters senior pictures  a few years ago and these two are just wonderful kids!  I really love working with their family!  They are just wonderful people! I love this one! I just love this one of these two! We were done and on the way back to the car when I saw the sky and I was I like we have to do more!  I ran to my car, got a light and we did a few more pictures! I love this one! I absolutely love this shirt!  It is so awesome! Alex, Senior Pictures

When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
