Isaac's Senior Pictures, Brighton

I knew that Isaac was feeling a little reticent about doing senior pictures. Honestly, I was thinking, I’ll show up, we’ll get through them quickly. But instead, we jumped right into basketball photos first—the hardest, longest part of the session. What was I thinking??

Well… turns out, it was the best decision we could have made.

Basketball is Isaac’s thing, and once we got rolling, I forgot he didn't want to do these. He was having fun - shooting the ball, dribbling, running with the ball, throwing the ball at me 😂 We came up with so many different ideas and just had a blast doing it.

I’m so glad we started with the thing he loves most—it made all the difference.

The sky was so weird that night, the sun looked great - it always does when there is a fire nearby, but the clouds were just weird brown things.  It was very hard to decide which way to photograph... I'm glad the blue was coming through! It really was a nice evening, except for the fire.

And then we met Tank!  He was all over the place!  All the smells and the people.  He was very excited!  But I think he did great!  And he has the greatest tongue!  So expressive!

Isaac's grandfather brought over his car and we did some with the car - it was dreamy!  I love this car!  So cool!
I love this one!

It was a muscle car... we had to do something like this 😂
All these people contributed to the pictures.  His dad brought a ladder, his mom had the dog treats, his sister made him smile and his grandparents brought the car.  It was perfect!

Sage's Senior Pictures, Boulder

When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! The locations she chose were absolutely perfect, and they fit her so well. And then, as if the day knew how amazing Sage is, the sun came out just for her. It had been hiding behind the clouds for quite a while, but suddenly it burst through, lighting up her gorgeous hair and giving everything this beautiful, glowy warmth. It honestly felt magical, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Photographing Sage was such an honor. She’s kind, authentic, and absolutely radiant—I just adored every moment of her session! She has the greatest smile! I love these in the water!  It was such a beautiful day! I love this one!  It is just magical! Her and her brother are so cute! I love these in the grasses!...

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. I can’t wait to share more from her senior year as one of my Influencers—she’s truly a star in front of the camera! I just l...

Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Turns out...
