Marisa and Trevor Wedding Part 1

I was so excited about Marisa and Trevor's wedding!  They are such an amazing couple!  And they were getting married in one of my favorite places on earth - Estes Park!

What struck me most about their day was that it wasn’t centered around the timeline or the wedding “events.” It was all about them. Everyone there was overflowing with excitement for Marisa and Trevor, and all the wedding things, the ceremony, the party, every little detail—felt like a natural extension of that love and joy.

There were moments when one of them looked a little nervous, but the instant they were together, you could see them breathe easier. Their connection is so genuine, and it was the sweetest thing to witness.

I don't even remember what was going on, but Trevor's face!  He totally cracked me up (and everyone else too!)

Marisa doesn’t love being the center of attention (and this is absolutely true if you know her!). So, Trevor came prepared with a pair of bunny ears. The plan was simple: anytime Marisa felt uncomfortable, he’d pop them on and instantly shift all the attention to himself.

I just love that. To me, it shows such a deep level of love and respect—not just in the big, sweeping wedding-day kind of way, but in the small, thoughtful gestures that really define a relationship. It’s those little acts of care that make their love so special.

The longest kiss. EVER!  And

I love their rings!  And they fit together beautifully!

What a gorgeous cake!  And it tasted really good too!

I love this one!

There were so many smiles!  And a lot of laughter!

Elli, Senior Pictures

I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain? Gorgeous!   I was hoping for a rainbow, but sadly we missed that! Elli is such a joy to be around. She’s incredibly sweet, the kind of person who makes y...

Tanner's Senior Pictures, Boulder

This young man! He is fantastic! I loved that he knew what he wanted and we were able to find some marvelous spots!  Look at those colors!  They were so amazing!   I did Tanner's  sisters senior pictures  a few years ago and these two are just wonderful kids!  I really love working with their family!  They are just wonderful people! I love this one! I just love this one of these two! We were done and on the way back to the car when I saw the sky and I was I like we have to do more!  I ran to my car, got a light and we did a few more pictures! I love this one! I absolutely love this shirt!  It is so awesome! Alex, Senior Pictures

When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
