There’s something so peaceful about Hudson Gardens — the gorgeous paths and beautiful grasses and tranquil pond create the perfect setting. And for someone like Summer, it felt like the most fitting choice. Summer is an incredibly sweet and thoughtful young lady. She’s so soft spoken and sincere, and you can just tell she leads with compassion. It’s no surprise that she hopes to become a teacher after graduation — and I have no doubt she’ll be absolutely wonderful at it. Kids will be drawn to her gentle nature and genuine warmth. I love this one! I had her standing in front of the stone wall and then she asked if she could sit by the lamp pole.  I like her pose better!  I really love it when people ask to do things!  I think it is more them and more true to who they are!   I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain?
