Juliana and Andrew's Wedding Part 3

I just had to do a part 3! The dancing was so much fun! This crowd really knew how to dance! I absolutely loved the light up wands that the DJ brought, they were a huge hit with the crowd. (P.S. if you were ever on the fence about hiring a DJ, especially a more expensive one – YES, it is worth it! And Randy Rodriguez is definitely one of the best I have worked with!)

Randy was so amazing and had a great connection with Juliana and Andrew!  I adore that he spent so much time with them prior to the wedding to work on their dances and understand what they wanted.  I really think so much of what he and his DJ did that evening made it more enjoyable for all of the guests!

They brought a CO2 cannon and it was so much fun to watch Juliana with it!  And the crowd went wild!  It was fantastic!

At the end of the evening, they did a last dance.  It was just the 2 of them and I thought it was such an incredible way for a couple to end the day.  I love that they did this at the end, what a perfect way to reconnect and get ready for the awesome departure!

The bubbles!  All the bubbles!  Juliana had told me there would be bubbles, but I was unprepared for the amount of bubbles!  What an incredible find! And a huge shout out to Emily, one way you know how great a wedding planner is, is because you don’t notice them or what they are doing.  Her attention to detail was top notch!  Everything was beautiful!  She was so calm throughout the whole wedding, I appreciated her so much!  She really made this day perfect!

Elli, Senior Pictures

I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain? Gorgeous!   I was hoping for a rainbow, but sadly we missed that! Elli is such a joy to be around. She’s incredibly sweet, the kind of person who makes y...

Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Turns out...

Alex, Senior Pictures

When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
