Marius Senior Pictures

 This was such a fun session! I love this spot so much! But it was cold! Soooo cold! And that made us hurry! But it was perfect because Marius is from South Africa and he had his Senior Pictures taken on top of a mountain with snow! Such drastically different environments! It's fun to think about, but not necessarily fun to do haha!

When I arrived, I was so excited about the light!  It was so gorgeous peeking through the trees!  I was very glad there wasn’t a ton of snow.  I’ve been here when the snow was mid-calf and it made walking around a lot harder.  Gorgeous, but a tough walk.  So this amount of snow was perfect.

These mountains!  I was so excited when Marius picked this spot!  And when I saw the mountains that day, I was like they were even better than normal!



I felt bad making Marius take his jacket off, put it back on, take it off.  But it really had to be done because there were so many great spots!





Because we rushed at Cathedral Point, I suggested we go down the mountain and do a few at Chautauqua.  I was very pleased that they agreed!  The Flatirons always look so amazing with snow!

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Isaak's Senior Pictures, Boulder

 Isaak was so easygoing and genuinely amazing to be around!  He wanted his senior pictures at sunset in Boulder, which is always a hit or a miss. There’s just something about that golden light hitting the rocks and mountains that makes everything feel magical. The only catch? Everyone else thinks so too. I picked this spot years ago because hardly anyone goes there. But this time, when we showed up, it was packed ! I couldn’t believe it. I was like, really?? Why here, today of all days? As it turns out, a sweet group of friends was setting up for a surprise proposal right in the middle of our spot. I mean, adorable, but also, the timing!  But honestly, that’s one of the things I love about my job, something unexpected always happens. Whether it’s weather changes, running late, surprise events, or wardrobe hiccups, it's always a challenge! And every single time, it ends up being even better than what I planned.
