Ariana Senior Pictures

 What a perfect day! The weather was fantastic! The sun was so marvelous! Ariana was just a dream to work with! She had so many great ideas and was so excited about our session! This is one of the things I love about my job is people like her! She makes it feel like a fun weekend afternoon and not like work!




I had been on the other side of the bridge and as I walking to where Ariana was there was this photographer using a vintage camera with glass plates.  He was photographing Ariana, and since photography is my favorite thing ever! I was like as long as her mom is ok with it, we can pause a bit.  I sure hope he sent them a picture!



Her hair!  I love it so much!
Love, love, love this!  She had brought her bible and wanted to do some pictures with it and I was hoping this tree would still be the perfect little grotto area to do that in – and it was!  And the light!  Oh my!  It was so awesome!









This field!  It is just magical!  And Ariana looks so amazing here!






I love that she got in the water!  It was freezing!  I didn’t get in as far as she did, so I can’t even imagine what her legs felt like!

  I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

  Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Alex, Senior Pictures

  When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
