Jackson Senior Pictures

This was such a fun session! Jackson was such a marvelous young man to photograph! There were so many times I really thought he was done and didn’t want to photograph more, but he was so agreeable to all my suggestions! So we kept going! He did hide his smile like it was a big secret or something. I’m not really sure why, because when he smiles seriously things light up! We were almost done when I got a real smile out of him and I was like oh we are doing so much more now. And then the smile disappeared again… At least I captured a few! He looks like Kevin Bacon when he smiles! I don’t know why he hides it so much!

I really love all the tall buildings!

See!  Very Kevin Baconesque!  When I do some of his football pictures I’m going to have to get at least 1 more smile out of this kid!

I love this window!  And then some business had to move in and cover the windows with their stuff.  I am so bummed!  But either way, Jackson looks pretty amazing here!

Now this window!  It still looks awesome!
We tried and tried with the smoke… I don’t know if it was being outside with it or I didn’t remember how to use it… but the smoke machine was not working the greatest.  And even with all of that, Jackson was still like ok let’s go to the next spot.  He was just so wonderful and willing to do more!  I loved it!

Probably because of all the walking and the smoke issues, I was running a little late.  But it actually worked in our favor!  I love the city lights and darker mood of the last few we got that evening!

Sage's Senior Pictures, Boulder

When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! The locations she chose were absolutely perfect, and they fit her so well. And then, as if the day knew how amazing Sage is, the sun came out just for her. It had been hiding behind the clouds for quite a while, but suddenly it burst through, lighting up her gorgeous hair and giving everything this beautiful, glowy warmth. It honestly felt magical, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Photographing Sage was such an honor. She’s kind, authentic, and absolutely radiant—I just adored every moment of her session! She has the greatest smile! I love these in the water!  It was such a beautiful day! I love this one!  It is just magical! Her and her brother are so cute! I love these in the grasses!...

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. I can’t wait to share more from her senior year as one of my Influencers—she’s truly a star in front of the camera! I just l...

Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Turns out...
