Juliana and Andrew's Wedding

The minute I talked to these two, I was in love! And then I met them and I was even more smitten! I literally could not wait for their wedding day. Juliana and Andrew are such wonderfully playful and vibrant people—it’s impossible not to be pulled into their joy. From our first conversation, I could feel their connection and their absolute excitement to marry each other. When we finally met in person, it was instant magic. Being near them was like a perfect summery day at the beach! (Those are my favorite days!) And let me just say… this day? It was absolutely the perfect, wonderful day. Everything about it reflected who they are: joyful, full of life, and deeply connected to the people around them. The laughter, the smiles, and hugging - the way their people showed up for them—it all spoke volumes. The people in their lives are just as wonderful and amazing as they are, and it made the entire day feel like one big celebration of love, friendship, and FUN. You could feel the love everywhere. Every detail—from the way they looked at each other, to how they loved their friends and family was pure gold. Juliana and Andrew, you two are such a gift. Thank you for letting me be part of this chapter in your love story. I’m still smiling just thinking about it.

This is Juliana’s grandma’s necklace, since she couldn’t be there she had it in her bouquet!  She is so thoughtful!

The first look with her dad was so sweet!  I love how close with her parents she is.  It is very touching to see how much respect and love they all have for one another.

I didn’t really expect all of them to jump… and then Andrew’s brother was up there flying high! What a fun group!

I love her veil!  We had just the right amount of a breeze to play with it!

We were so lucky!  There was rain and hail an hour before we did these and it sure looked like it was going to rain the entire time we were outside.  It only started to sprinkle and then it moved on.  By the end of the night it had rained, hailed and was snowing like we were flying through hyperspace. Such a crazy day!

These two!  They are just precious!

Elli, Senior Pictures

I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain? Gorgeous!   I was hoping for a rainbow, but sadly we missed that! Elli is such a joy to be around. She’s incredibly sweet, the kind of person who makes y...

Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Turns out...

Alex, Senior Pictures

When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
