Ayden Senior Pictures

 As I was driving to Ayden's session, the weather wasn't looking so great. I was so hoping that it would rain and leave and the clouds would clear out a little and be gorgeous! And that is exactly what happened. There was a moment that we all moved under a bridge because it was starting to rain again. Luckily it moved out quickly. Which is so good, I really didn't want to rush through his session. He is such an amazing kid! I loved his laugh and smile, it was so genuine! And his care for animals is amazing! He talked about maybe wanting to be a vet and I was like if he was I would so take my animals to him!

These clouds were so amazing!  I loved that Ayden could do a fantastic serious face!  It makes the moody clouds look so much better!

I love these with the drum sticks!  His mom was a great help with the smoke machine – once we got it working!   I don’t know why it isn’t working so great, but when it does, it is amazing!  I think I need to do more smoke and drummers!

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

  Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy.
