Bri and Justin's Wedding Part 2

 I love every part of every wedding! But the one part that is the most unpredictable is the getting ready part. There are so many emotions and feelings. There is this anticipation and overwhelm wondering if everything is going to be perfect (no, it's not going to be perfect. But in 5, 10 years you will remember it as perfect.) And all the getting ready, the things you do everyday, change and remind you that this is the start of something wonderful. Suddenly it's not just getting ready, but a ritual and the start of this thing you have spent so much time dreaming and preparing for... It's really the calm before the rest of the day, because even for me the rest of the day is a blur! I love so much about weddings, because they are real and beautiful! Every couple does it different and I love witnessing these differences! They are truly special.

 When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! The locations she chose were absolutely perfect, and they fit her so well. And then, as if the day knew how amazing Sage is, the sun came out just for her. Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

  Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy.
