Kelley and Bill's Engagement

If I didn't have the pictures I would have thought I was dreaming! I must have done something right somewhere - it's all those volunteer hours! I was fortunate enough to fly to Belize and photograph Kelley and Bill's wedding and as if that wasn't enough I also photographed their engagement pictures too! It was amazing and I loved hanging out with these guys!

Yes, that is a mural Bob Marley behind them. The Purple Space Monkey (isn't that the coolest name for a restaraunt?) was very colorful and funky, unfortunately the restaraunt was out of business.

These guys were very funny! And Bill seemed to have this reaction whenever his Best Man John was around. I encouraged John to stick around, but breathlessly Bill waved him on to go do other beach activities.

One of the things I love about engagement shoots is having the couple kiss! So often they haven't kissed in awhile, they may have forgotten how to...

I had a wonderful time with Kelley and Bill. I am very thankful to have done their pictures in such a wonderfully beautiful (and warm) place. I loved all the different places we were able to do pictures and the weather was perfect! I have an engagement session this weekend that I could use good weather for, but it may snow (groan!) so we may end up inside.

Tanner's Senior Pictures, Boulder

This young man! He is fantastic! I loved that he knew what he wanted and we were able to find some marvelous spots! Look at those colors! They were so amazing! I did Tanner's sisters senior pictures a few years ago and these two are just wonderful kids! I really love working with their family! They are just wonderful people! I love this one! I just love this one of these two! We were done and on the way back to the car when I saw the sky and I was I like we have to do more! I ran to my car, got a light and we did a few more pictures! I love this one! I absolutely love this shirt! It is so awesome! Photographing with alpacas has been sooooo much fun! They are just adorable, sweet and have the cutest faces! And this family made it so much more enjoyable! These kids are downright adorable! And full of such personality - I was in love! These kids! Their reactions to the alpacas were just adorable! There's a video on instagram about it too, I encourage you to go check it out! So cute! Those sweaters! They were so cute! Hopefully they were warm because it was cold that day! And out in the field with all the snow was so much cooler! But those kids were amazing leaving their jackets off while we took pictures! I personally would have frozen and just fallen over without my jacket! I love LOVE this light! If the kids hadn't been warmly bundled in a wagon, I would have thrown them in to the image too, but to make them get out in the cold was a little cruel. Tim and Rachel, Hudson Gardens

Tim and Rachael come highly recommended from the people who them to me. I always love these cross connections to people and then I get to see them through their friends eyes. I have always adored the people who gave Tim the recommendation and then hearing him and his kids talk about them made me more fond of them. Photography really is a special gift to everyone, including the photographer! Tim and Rachel showed up a little early to do just their pictures and it was a good they did! By the time the grandkids arrived, there was craziness all around! I love how these two care about each other! It was so apparent in how they were with each other and that just makes me so happy! Uhhhhhh.... trying to get 2 cousins who adore each other in movement is not an easy thing to get them to sit!
