Brighton High School Senior Pictures, Sam

This session was a bit confusing.  His parent's thought it was about him.  And Sam thought it was about his truck.  So, I had to somehow figure out how to do both...  And make either party think I was doing what they thought I was doing.  Which of course meant that I photographed Sam way more than he thought was necessary.    I love these in the trees!  I couldn't believe that the leaves hadn't all changed yet!  Such a weird fall we are having!  One of the only reasons we were able to do pictures of just Sam without the truck was because he wanted to do sunset pictures with his truck - if you are starting to think he has a crush on his truck, you would be wrong.  It is waaay beyond crush stage.  Anyway, we had to wait a little for the sun to go down and in that time I was able to convince him to do some without the truck.  Sam had this vision of dirt on the tires, I don't think he had intended on being in the picture, but I love that he was! Denver High School Senior Pictures, Jeremiah

I love these!  We were going to go to a different alley, but stumbled on this one and we all loved the colors.  I love Jeremiah's smile, he was so good natured and happy!  I loved this wall!  We rushed over these bridges before the sun went down and I think they are some of my favorites on this bridge!  It helped that Jeremiah was so good at smiling!  He is hoping to go to LSU!  I love that he has a jersey and some plans!  It's always good to have both! Holy Family High School Senior Pictures, Tanner

Tanner and his mom and dad were such wonderful people!  His parent's were excited about Tanner's senior pictures and they had lots of  ideas about where to do pictures.  And then his mom found these huge lava rocks with moss all over them - I have been at this location several times and in this area, but I hadn't noticed them before.  I'm not sure how I could have missed these huge rocks, but I did.  Huge disappointment for my perceptive powers....  I love this spot!  I love the colors of Holy Family!  They just pop!  We found this great stump and I was going to ask Tanner to go stand by it and the next thing I know he's on top of it.  I love teenagers!  They are so adventurous.  Tanner wanted to do pictures around sunset and it was so much fun!  We had to stand around and wait awhile for the sun to go down, but it was worth it!  I love these with the basketball hoop! Lafayette, Co High School Senior Pictures, Makayla

Makayla is such a sweet girl!  She was a little shy at first, but her girlfriend Tori was really able to help her relax and make her smile!  They are super sweet together and very supportive of each other.  It was obvious that Makayla didn't want to do pictures, I am so glad she agreed to do them because she is a marvelous joy!  And I am so glad I got to do her pictures!  And I think she has the greatest story for how she found me!  She works at Noodles and Co. and I had put my card in the fish bowl for the chance at a free meal, but I got something way better than that!  I got to take her Senior Pictures!  I'd say that was the best use of my card yet!  I love this outfit!  It is so awesome!  I love this one!  The colors are spectacular!  I love these of the two of them!
