The Denver Botanic Gardens  is always such a wonderful spot, so when Mikayla said she wanted to do pictures there, I was so excited!  And we were so lucky to have so many great blooms!  Sometimes they have bloomed and the leaves are starting to fall off or they are about to bloom.  It's always hard to tell.  But we had a perfect day! I loved all the color here!  It was so gorgeous! Mikayla had brought a book with her and I just loved having it in this spot at the gardens! She is such a sweet young lady!  I know it can be hard to be photographed - especially all by yourself!  And Mikayla did such a great job!  And one thing that I loved so much about photographing her was when she didn't like something she told me.  That is such a great quality to have!   I love this one with the guitar in the field! I had such a marvelous time with Tessa!  She was such a joy to work with!  She was willing to do just about anything I asked - and she did it with an amazing smile! This little guy was just too cute to not snap a photo of!  There was no chatter, just cute watching 😍 I love that she brought her lovey!  It really was a very sweet addition to the session! I love this one!   I love this one too! The weather seemed like it would be fine... and then it started to rain!  I was so nervous that we would get rained out, but it moved through quick and made everything sparkle after that! I love it when the sun is going down at Chautauqua ! The different light is just so fun to play with! I love her sleeves!  They were just so fun to play with! I don't usually do this, but it was kind of fun! I love, love, love this one! Her smile is so marvelous! And I love, love, love these with her grandma, sister and mom! These were so much fun! And Tessa only almost fell...

Mason was such a great sport!  He was very clear that he was doing this for his mom.  I loved that he was so willing to and didn't complain!  So many of the seniors I photograph who are doing it for their mom, don't say they are doing it for her, but doing it because she said so 😆 And honestly, as great as Mason was, I couldn't tell that he was an unwilling participant 😉 I love this wall!  It is so cool!  It reminds me of some of the architecture in Chicago that represents the lake. It was amazing how different the bridge seemed that day!  I don't know if it Mason or what, but it seemed seemed newer and I saw things a lot differently with him 😂 I love this one!  Definitely one of my seeing the bridge differently ones! The fence!  Probably my favorite spot! The sun had come out and was just making everything look so perfect! I love this one!
