Chautauqua Portrait Session, Paige and Alex

Paige and Alex were so much fun, they kept cracking jokes and had me laughing the entire time!  We were so lucky to have such a nice day in the middle of February, although Alex kept saying he was cold (I was in a tank top on this 60+ degree day) because he is living in Texas and there 60s are cool.  Alex kept saying he was so awkward in front of the camera, which I had a hard time believing because of that smile!  And Paige was so incredibly playful and a blast!    Aren't they so cute???  These guys!  Seriously, they are so awesome!  I love these!  They were so much fun!  So much fun!  I love these!  I love, LOVE, love this one! Boulder Portraits, Charlie and Lily

Ahhhhh!  Charlie and Lily!  What can I say about this lovely couple??  They were adorable.  I loved how down to earth and calm they were - they were such an amazing couple!  They met in a small village in China when Charlie was teaching English (I wish I could remember the village name!), I just loved their story!  Charlie had booked this session as a birthday present for Lily, which was so sweet!  And I forgot... I never even said Happy Birthday - head slap!  I couldn't believe I forgot to do that!  So - Happy Birthday Lily!  I hope it was amazing!  I love this one!  It is so sweet!  It was funny, we were almost done and I asked them if there was anything else they wanted to do.  At first, neither one of them could think of anything.  And then Lily got excited and had so many more suggestions!  I was so excited!  And I could have gone on for another hour!  Such a lovely couple!  XOXO! Lafayette Family Portraits, Heather and Brian

These girls were incredibly active and a bit feisty!  I adored them so much!  I had no problems getting them to interact or do goofy things, I did have some problems getting the little one to pose for pictures - but who wants to sit for posed pictures when there is a whole world to explore??!??  And the thing I loved the most was that their parents let them explore!  That is so important!  I love, love, love these!  What fun!  And the laughter!  It was contagious!  Aren't they just the cutest??!??  So, I was going for the "cute" pose, but the grabbing of the legs turned out to be a game and I thought that was way cuter than a "posed" picture!  Awwww!  Mom and dad!  They are the greatest!  For me, these pictures totally show these girl's personalities.  One likes to pose and have her picture taken.  And the other likes thrills and to have her picture taken. Broomfield Family Pictures, Stephanie and Doug

Stephanie and Doug's family was so amazing and hilariously funny!  I totally loved hanging out with them!  And I loved their house, it was absolutely beautiful!  They are from the mid-west and their floor was from old warehouses in the mid-west, it was amazing!  I love touches like these!  The kid's all have different sporting loves - I can't even imagine all the driving their parent's have to do!  I love these with Stephanie and Doug!  They are so cute! Colorado High School Senior Pictures, My very own son

I know sometimes people get a little anxious to see their pictures...  And I try really hard to get them done quickly.... Unless you happen to be a family member... Then maybe not so much.... My son graduated in 2012.  And today - TODAY - I just finished his Senior Pictures.  I would calculate the months and days it has taken me to finish them, but I would only be adding another 5 minutes to that total and I still have to finish his sister's Senior Pictures.  This is not normal.  For most High School Seniors.  But totally normal for my kid.  Oh my!  Those shoes!  I can't believe I let him wear those!  And I really can't believe they are still on his feet and didn't just fall off in the picture!  And again, not normal... But for my kid... (sigh) NORMAL.  When he was little and I taking a photography class, I needed a model.  I figured it was a slam dunk, I didn't have to find a model, I had a 5 year old.  But he didn't
