Denver High School Seniors, Shae

Every High School senior is different and some I really connect with, some I laugh like crazy with and some it takes all I have to get them to be comfortable in front of the camera.  Shae was just extra special!  She was fun, excited and played around a ton!  I loved that I didn't have to tell her much and she just played around without me asking.  She was such a free spirit!  And absolutely adorable!  And those eyes!  They are so fantastic!

We hadn't even been taking pictures for 5 minutes before she started posing!  It was fabulous!

I am always afraid that the people that live behind this glass wall are going to poke their heads above the wall and yell at us...  But so far they haven't...  I do love their glass brick wall!  It is super fun and different!  I may have to build a portable one...
Shae and her friend Lynette were hilarious!  I love that they thought through what they would do for their photos!  It was so cute!  And see!  Broncos and Raiders fans can get along!

I love these with the umbrella!  She just spun around and had a great time!

One of the things I love so much about teenagers is that when I ask them to do something, they are always willing to do more.  I just wanted her to be near the tree and then she said 'what if I get in the tree?'  Which of course was a great idea!  And she did it in heels!  She is amazing!

Sage's Senior Pictures, Boulder

When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! The locations she chose were absolutely perfect, and they fit her so well. And then, as if the day knew how amazing Sage is, the sun came out just for her. It had been hiding behind the clouds for quite a while, but suddenly it burst through, lighting up her gorgeous hair and giving everything this beautiful, glowy warmth. It honestly felt magical, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Photographing Sage was such an honor. She’s kind, authentic, and absolutely radiant—I just adored every moment of her session! She has the greatest smile! I love these in the water!  It was such a beautiful day! I love this one!  It is just magical! Her and her brother are so cute! I love these in the grasses!...

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. I can’t wait to share more from her senior year as one of my Influencers—she’s truly a star in front of the camera! I just l...

Brayden, Golden, Co.

When Brayden said he wanted to do his senior pictures at Red Rocks, I was totally on board, Red Rocks is always amazing and absolutely beautiful! The only problem was the day we were doing them there was a concert.  I was very nervous! I’ve done sessions there before when a concert was happening that night, and it just a very adventurous thing to do. There are so many cars!  And people.  They are everywhere!  I didn’t even know who was performing that night, but that doesn't mean much...  I was crossing my fingers that it would all work out. And thankfully it did! It was perfect. There weren’t many people around until the doors opened, and that gave us such an amazing window to get some incredible shots. These are probably some of the greatest images I have taken at the tunnel! It was very exciting! We were lucky to be blessed with some beautiful deer! You can see all the cars starting to show up!  I was going to take them out, but then I was...
