This is my wonderful sister-in-law Thea and her children Matt and Rachel. We had a great time at Cheeseman Park in Denver, luckily we beat the heat by a day! Today turned out to be a hot one, although they could have run through the sprinklers yesterday!
Isn't she adorable? And I'm not just saying that because I am her Aunt. She is really one of the sweetest girls. At her brother's birthday party, she won a stuffed shark that my son Aidan fell in love with. And Rachel being the sweety she is gave it to Aidan - "just because" she said.
Matt kept threatening to take the squirrels and hang them upside down by their tails... I was a little skeptical that it would work out how he imagined, but he assured me it would be ok. Several times he asked me if I wanted him to show me, and as curious as I may have been, I did the good Aunt thing and said "No! Let's leave the squirrels alone!"
I thought they would be a little more entertained with the fish-eye, but they just weren't smiling enough!
He is getting SO big! He is almost taller than me - which isn't that hard, but still! I think he's only like 7...
