Denver Portrait Photography, Thea and her beautiful children

This is my wonderful sister-in-law Thea and her children Matt and Rachel. We had a great time at Cheeseman Park in Denver, luckily we beat the heat by a day! Today turned out to be a hot one, although they could have run through the sprinklers yesterday! Isn't she adorable? And I'm not just saying that because I am her Aunt. She is really one of the sweetest girls. At her brother's birthday party, she won a stuffed shark that my son Aidan fell in love with. And Rachel being the sweety she is gave it to Aidan - "just because" she said.
Matt kept threatening to take the squirrels and hang them upside down by their tails... I was a little skeptical that it would work out how he imagined, but he assured me it would be ok. Several times he asked me if I wanted him to show me, and as curious as I may have been, I did the good Aunt thing and said "No! Let's leave the squirrels alone!"








I thought they would be a little more entertained with the fish-eye, but they just weren't smiling enough!



He is getting SO big! He is almost taller than me - which isn't that hard, but still! I think he's only like 7...

She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Brayden, Golden, Co.

 When Brayden said he wanted to do his senior pictures at Red Rocks, I was totally on board, Red Rocks is always amazing and absolutely beautiful! The only problem was the day we were doing them there was a concert.  I was very nervous! I’ve done sessions there before when a concert was happening that night, and it just a very adventurous thing to do. There are so many cars!  And people.  They are everywhere!  I didn’t even know who was performing that night, but that doesn't mean much...  I was crossing my fingers that it would all work out. And thankfully it did! It was perfect. There weren’t many people around until the doors opened, and that gave us such an amazing window to get some incredible shots.
