Colorado Event Photography, United Power's Annual Meeting

United Power is such a great organization and I totally love their Annual Meeting - I know it seems strange, but I have my reasons! It is a wonderful time where people who haven't seen each other, bump into one another and there is just a great energy in the air.  United Power is always thinking forward and looking to their Member's for help, in our world where we have very little say about what and how corporations are, I really appreciate it!
 





 The Pepper Pod catered the event and what I was able to wolf down was fabulous!  I also loved their presentation of the food, I perhaps photographed the food and decorations a bit too much...


 And who ever said there wasn't interesting things happening at corporate meetings?  These images are in the order I took them.  I love that he thought of the napkin, even if it was after he put all his fingers in his mouth.  And if you look closely at the middle image, I can only imagine what he is thinking about that napkin - perhaps he's thinking 'I think my mom told me about these once...' or 'I think I've seen these before...'

She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Isaak's Senior Pictures, Boulder

 Isaak was so easygoing and genuinely amazing to be around!  He wanted his senior pictures at sunset in Boulder, which is always a hit or a miss. There’s just something about that golden light hitting the rocks and mountains that makes everything feel magical. The only catch? Everyone else thinks so too. I picked this spot years ago because hardly anyone goes there. But this time, when we showed up, it was packed ! I couldn’t believe it. I was like, really?? Why here, today of all days? As it turns out, a sweet group of friends was setting up for a surprise proposal right in the middle of our spot. I mean, adorable, but also, the timing!  But honestly, that’s one of the things I love about my job, something unexpected always happens. Whether it’s weather changes, running late, surprise events, or wardrobe hiccups, it's always a challenge! And every single time, it ends up being even better than what I planned.
