Denver Senior Pictures, Alex

I feel so lucky to have so many ambitious Seniors this year!  So many of them know where they want to be photographed, how and they are on it!  Alex knew he wanted to do pictures at the Buell Theatre, he contacted them and we were able to do a behind the scenes photo-shoot.  I had done a few photo-shoots there and I was more worried about the light and how dark the theater was, but when we got there and had to walk the hallways behind the theater, I was ecstatic!  Alex couldn't stop smiling (which was a great plus for pictures!) he was so excited.  I loved that he picked a place that meant so much to him and we were actually able to go there and photograph.
 Alex is a more behind the scenes theater guy, he has done the sound, technical theater and is currently learning lighting.  So the hallways lined with past production painted posters was perfect!  I wish I could have wandered the halls a little longer, it was amazing to see all the productions - you could almost hear the music and hustle and bustle of back stage.

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Isaak's Senior Pictures, Boulder

 Isaak was so easygoing and genuinely amazing to be around!  He wanted his senior pictures at sunset in Boulder, which is always a hit or a miss. There’s just something about that golden light hitting the rocks and mountains that makes everything feel magical. The only catch? Everyone else thinks so too. I picked this spot years ago because hardly anyone goes there. But this time, when we showed up, it was packed ! I couldn’t believe it. I was like, really?? Why here, today of all days? As it turns out, a sweet group of friends was setting up for a surprise proposal right in the middle of our spot. I mean, adorable, but also, the timing!  But honestly, that’s one of the things I love about my job, something unexpected always happens. Whether it’s weather changes, running late, surprise events, or wardrobe hiccups, it's always a challenge! And every single time, it ends up being even better than what I planned.
