Brighton High School Senior Pictures, Jared

I know it seems strange to be doing Senior Pictures in March, but I still have 2 more this week.  I am not complaining!  I love doing Senior Pictures!  Jared was such a great kid to work with.  I would ask him to pose a certain way and as he got ready, I'd say 'Stop!  Do exactly what you are doing right now!'  He was a natural!  I could have continued photographing him for days!  I had photographed both of his brother's for their Senior Pictures and it was nice hearing about what they were doing!







 This is not just a gratuitous image of my cat, she kept invading and distracting Jared.  She acted like we never pet her or paid any attention to her.  If you are friends with me on Facebook, you would see she dominates my page!  She is always doing goofy things and of course, I have to share.  Since Jared and her seemed to have such a great bond, I thought including her here was appropriate.

 When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Isaak's Senior Pictures, Boulder

 Isaak was so easygoing and genuinely amazing to be around!  He wanted his senior pictures at sunset in Boulder, which is always a hit or a miss. There’s just something about that golden light hitting the rocks and mountains that makes everything feel magical. The only catch? Everyone else thinks so too. I picked this spot years ago because hardly anyone goes there. But this time, when we showed up, it was packed ! I couldn’t believe it. I was like, really?? Why here, today of all days? As it turns out, a sweet group of friends was setting up for a surprise proposal right in the middle of our spot. I mean, adorable, but also, the timing!  But honestly, that’s one of the things I love about my job, something unexpected always happens. Whether it’s weather changes, running late, surprise events, or wardrobe hiccups, it's always a challenge! And every single time, it ends up being even better than what I planned.
