Personal, My youngest gets braces

My youngest is just a wee 10 years old and yesterday he had to get braces.  We knew he would have to get braces, just not so soon.  And he will have to get them again in about 3 years.  Lately, he has been costing a lot of money!  Little stinker!
Since I knew he was getting them soon and it was summer, I decided to photograph him eating the coveted caramel apple.  Little did I think that it would be so hot, it would be hard to eat without it dripping candy all over himself.  And since we were in a field of dirt and grass, he didn't finish the apple or even really make a dent in it.
I already miss those funny spaced teeth!
 


 His sister was so nice to help me with the photo shoot and was even nice enough to pose for about 30 seconds!  Totally LOVE these guys!!!
If you ever want to do a post braces shoot, let me know!  It was quite fun!  Now for more soft food.

Cecilia, Andrew and their adorable children. Oh and a few alpacas. Franktown, Co

Photographing with alpacas has been sooooo much fun! They are just adorable, sweet and have the cutest faces! And this family made it so much more enjoyable! These kids are downright adorable! And full of such personality - I was in love!   These kids!  Their reactions to the alpacas were just adorable!  There's a video on instagram about it too, I encourage you to go check it out!  So cute! Those sweaters!  They were so cute!  Hopefully they were warm because it was cold that day!  And out in the field with all the snow was so much cooler!  But those kids were amazing leaving their jackets off while we took pictures!  I personally would have frozen and just fallen over without my jacket! I love LOVE this light!  If the kids hadn't been warmly bundled in a wagon, I would have thrown them in to the image too, but to make them get out in the cold was a little cruel.   For more information on High School Seniors, Portraits and Weddings...

Tim and Rachel, Hudson Gardens

Tim and Rachael come highly recommended from the people who them to me. I always love these cross connections to people and then I get to see them through their friends eyes. I have always adored the people who gave Tim the recommendation and then hearing him and his kids talk about them made me more fond of them. Photography really is a special gift to everyone, including the photographer! Tim and Rachel showed up a little early to do just their pictures and it was a good they did!  By the time the grandkids arrived, there was craziness all around!  I love how these two care about each other!  It was so apparent in how they were with each other and that just makes me so happy!
