I love working with these guys! It is for Escoffier School of Culinary Arts and they are a hoot! There is a lot of joking, laughter and fun! And one of the great perks of this photo session was that we got to visit Black Cat Farms which is the farm for the Black Cat Boulder restaurant. Other than the cold, it was a fabulous tour and it was great to hear the chefs talk about farm to table eating. Mmmmm! Tasty!
The other perk of this event (perhaps my favorite part) was a Mystery Basket competition for 16 or so Colorado High Schools. It was a real live cooking show! And it was fabulous to see all the High Schoolers working together and creating some of the best smelling food I have smelled at 10am in the morning!
At the end of everything, there was an award ceremony for the Culinary Chef teachers and other people who have helped further the culinary world. I could just hang out with these guys all the time - they really know how to eat some fabulous food! It was at the Rembrandt Yard in Boulder and it was a beautiful place!
Here are some from the school!
