Broomfield Family Pictures, Sky and her marvelous family

Sky had called me and asked if I could do a portrait shoot on Christmas Eve.  And I thought about it and thought "yeah, why not?"  And then on Christmas Eve morning, I woke up and I was like "What was I thinking??!??"  I had so much to do.  To prove that Christmas is magical, I got everything done in record time (including going to Costco - which should have taken hours on Christmas Eve, but it didn't!)  I was so relaxed when I got to Sky's house and was able to enjoy what a joyful family they have!  Her parent's were so happy to have all their kids and grand kids with them, it was marvelous!  And everyone was in such a festive mood, it really made me smile.

 It is super hard to have such a large group hug - and the best part was the laughter!


 Afterward we did some smaller family groups!  I adore these!  They were so much fun!

This young man! He is fantastic! Sophia Senior Pictures, Boulder

The thing I remember the most about Sophia's session was walking around chatting and laughing! This girl is going places, she is just so busy with everything! And I bet she does everything with that beautiful smile of hers! I love this one!  Her hair!  It is just gorgeous! I love that whatever pose I put her in, she looked so amazing!   I love all these colors, they were absolutely beautiful! I mentioned that she could get into the water if she wanted and the next thing I know she is sitting in the water!  It was so awesome! I would have suggested she get her hair wet, but we still had another location to get to! I love these in the field so much!   Chautuaqua  is always a magical place! And then the sun came out!  We were out of the field at this point and when the sun came out, Sophia and I ran back and did some more pictures!  I was so excited! Evan Senior Pictures, Golden

Evan really wanted to do pictures in an aspen grove and I was really worried all the leaves would be gone, and most of them were. But there were enough to make it look good. And the grasses! Oh my they were so amazing! I absolutely love the blue with all the fall colors!   I love this one! I love how Evan did his hair different at the 2nd location!  I always wish there was more time to do such things on sessions!
