Broomfield Family Pictures, Denise and Shawn

It has been over a month since I posted a blog!  I cannot believe it has been so long!  I have been swimming in The Lion King jr play pictures, props and drama!  Oiy! Drama!  But what fun it has been!  This was my son's last play in middle school, so I may have gone overboard with the helping and gifts.  But after 12 plays I was feeling super sad about not spending so much time with all the wonderful kids anymore.  I am going to miss all those little buggers!

Anyway, Denise and Shawn and their wonderful kids were spectactular!  (The umbrellas was from when my son was in Singing in the Rain jr, that I borrowed - sometimes drama can be good!)  These guys were super fun and chill!  They are a marvelously affectionate family!  The kiddos were so excited about the umbrellas - there was lots of running and jumping with umbrellas soaring in the air.  I could have stayed with them all day!
I am in love with those pink boots!  I must get a pair!

This is one of my favorites!

I think they were trying to fly!  It was so adorable!

I am telling you - this is not the typical sibling behavior!  They were so close and I thought it was fantastic!  Most of the times I use this pose someone ends up on the ground because of the pushing and shoving.
So adorable!  I wish we would have had blue skies for this one image!  But I was loving those clouds and not fighting the sun and shadows!  I guess we can't have everything we want!

Sage's Senior Pictures, Boulder

When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! The locations she chose were absolutely perfect, and they fit her so well. And then, as if the day knew how amazing Sage is, the sun came out just for her. It had been hiding behind the clouds for quite a while, but suddenly it burst through, lighting up her gorgeous hair and giving everything this beautiful, glowy warmth. It honestly felt magical, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Photographing Sage was such an honor. She’s kind, authentic, and absolutely radiant—I just adored every moment of her session! She has the greatest smile! I love these in the water!  It was such a beautiful day! I love this one!  It is just magical! Her and her brother are so cute! I love these in the grasses!...

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. I can’t wait to share more from her senior year as one of my Influencers—she’s truly a star in front of the camera! I just l...

Grace Senior Pictures, Boulder Co

Sometimes the best things are worth the wait—and Grace’s senior session was definitely one of those moments. After rescheduling thanks to Colorado’s unpredictable rain (seriously, the rain wasn’t acting the way it’s supposed to!), we finally landed the most beautiful day . There was just the right amount of sparkle in the air—it was perfect. Grace is such a delightfully beautiful young lady, inside and out. Her energy is gentle but radiant, and from the moment she showed up, she was so excited to be in front of the camera. That kind of enthusiasm? It’s contagious—and honestly, I was just as excited as she was! We had a great time exploring by the creek, Chautauqua and the top of Flagstaff   Mountain and soaking in that golden light, and creating portraits that felt so her. And then…I brought out the mylar. 😄 I had this fun, artsy idea to play with reflections and light using sheets of mylar—something a little different, a little sparkly, and totally dreamy. Turns out...
