Brighton High School Pictures, Faith

We did Faith's pictures at Golden's Historic Park, it was such a fun session.  I love Faith and her family, they are so down to earth and such marvelous people!  It was really nice to go around the park with them and chat.  This fall, during South Africa's summer they are going back to do more senior pictures (I wish I was going!  Can you imagine?? What fun that would be!)  Faith was born there and she spent a lot of time in her Aunt's garden, so they wanted to go back and have her picture taken in the gardens.  I think that is such a sweet and touching thing to do.

 I love her laugh!

There was this moment where some boys walked by and Faith's mom was teasing her about liking their shoes, but I don't think it was their shoes that Faith was smiling so big about.  I just love her big smile!  She is so beautiful!

At this point, I think she was laughing because she was so happy we were done.  I think she was tired and done with me taking her picture long before we got to the river.  But the river!  I didn't want to skip the river!

Sage's Senior Pictures, Boulder

When I first showed up for Sage’s senior session, I just knew it was going to be something special. She was a little shy at first, but right away I could tell what a sweet and genuine young lady she is. And once she warmed up, she started to shine—it was such a joy to capture! The locations she chose were absolutely perfect, and they fit her so well. And then, as if the day knew how amazing Sage is, the sun came out just for her. It had been hiding behind the clouds for quite a while, but suddenly it burst through, lighting up her gorgeous hair and giving everything this beautiful, glowy warmth. It honestly felt magical, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Photographing Sage was such an honor. She’s kind, authentic, and absolutely radiant—I just adored every moment of her session! She has the greatest smile! I love these in the water!  It was such a beautiful day! I love this one!  It is just magical! Her and her brother are so cute! I love these in the grasses!...

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. I can’t wait to share more from her senior year as one of my Influencers—she’s truly a star in front of the camera! I just l...

Brayden, Golden, Co.

When Brayden said he wanted to do his senior pictures at Red Rocks, I was totally on board, Red Rocks is always amazing and absolutely beautiful! The only problem was the day we were doing them there was a concert.  I was very nervous! I’ve done sessions there before when a concert was happening that night, and it just a very adventurous thing to do. There are so many cars!  And people.  They are everywhere!  I didn’t even know who was performing that night, but that doesn't mean much...  I was crossing my fingers that it would all work out. And thankfully it did! It was perfect. There weren’t many people around until the doors opened, and that gave us such an amazing window to get some incredible shots. These are probably some of the greatest images I have taken at the tunnel! It was very exciting! We were lucky to be blessed with some beautiful deer! You can see all the cars starting to show up!  I was going to take them out, but then I was...
