Broomfield Family Portraits, Desiree and Todd

I was photographing Desiree, Todd and their daughter for a neighborhood magazine when Desiree asked me if her brother could be part of the session.  I was so excited that she wanted to include her brother!  I love it when siblings are still so close as adults!




 I love these!  They are so cute together!
 I love this one!  They all have such beautiful smiles!





 These two are so sweet!  I just adored them, there was so much laughter and awkward smiles.  My favorite!



 I just love this one so much!  You can't ask someone to have such happiness on their faces, it just happens.
 Desiree and Todd had an image taken on their 5th wedding anniversary that was just stunning and they have tried to re-create it every 5 years since.  In the last picture, their daughter was so tiny!  I was thinking something else needed to be done, so we did the re-creation and then tried something new!  
 This is the new one!  I love it!
 We were almost done and I asked if there was anything else and their daughter really wanted pictures in front of their wooden wall.  I was really glad we went in!

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Isaak's Senior Pictures, Boulder

 Isaak was so easygoing and genuinely amazing to be around!  He wanted his senior pictures at sunset in Boulder, which is always a hit or a miss. There’s just something about that golden light hitting the rocks and mountains that makes everything feel magical. The only catch? Everyone else thinks so too. I picked this spot years ago because hardly anyone goes there. But this time, when we showed up, it was packed ! I couldn’t believe it. I was like, really?? Why here, today of all days? As it turns out, a sweet group of friends was setting up for a surprise proposal right in the middle of our spot. I mean, adorable, but also, the timing!  But honestly, that’s one of the things I love about my job, something unexpected always happens. Whether it’s weather changes, running late, surprise events, or wardrobe hiccups, it's always a challenge! And every single time, it ends up being even better than what I planned.
