I am the luckiest Aunt around! I have the most amazing nieces and nephews! I was so lucky to be able to photograph Gabby's senior pictures over Thanksgiving break! Especially because it snowed - a lot - the day we were supposed to do them. We weren't really sure we were going to be able to do them due to the holidays and time. But luckily, everything worked out and we got to spend a lovely afternoon in the snow and cold! Poor Gabby lives where it's warm, not where it snows, and I'm not sure she really liked the cold so much that day... I know I didn't! It was terribly cold that day, 22 degrees but felt like 15 degrees. It was terrible! My legs didn't warm up until the next day! But with all the cold, Gabby still looks stunning!
So, this was a great moment! This guy was just walking toward like any Colorado hiker would, I was thinking we would exchange pleasantries about the weather as we passed each other on the path. And Gabby's moms thought process was to protect us all by swinging the bag in a menacing way to combat those antlers and hopefully scare him off. Definitely one of those moments that can change a day, but he sauntered off the path and left us alone. Some disappointed and others relieved.
I love this one!
I begged her to put her hair up! And it worked! I am so glad she did! She looks amazing!
