I love these guys! No matter how prepared and thought out I am, they come in and throw me for a loop. Every time! One day, I will get all of them happy and smiling! I swear it will happen! But for now I will just to settle for them being separate and smiling-ish.   She's smiling!  Last year she was making sad faces at me!     I have hopes that he will smile at me next year!  Fingers crossed!   There was so much of this!  The oldest just has to have the best sense of humor!  She is always so helpful and marvelous during our sessions!   The baby was 9 months!  I can't believe she is almost 1 year old!  Time flies so fast! I am so excited for these two! They are about to have a baby - well, it's a few months away! But a baby! They are going to have the cutest family ever! Hannah wanted to do pictures in their home and for them to be cozy and laid back, I love doing in home sessions, so I was extra excited about doing them there!  And they have the cutest house, so that was an extra bonus! These are their puppies!  So stinkin' cute!  They are going to be the greatest big puppy brothers!   I love this one!   Congratulations you two!  This is such amazing news! I cannot believe it's been 5 years since I photographed these guys! The girls were so little back then! It's amazing how quickly they grow up! I had so many plans - different outfits, spinning and billowy dresses and skirts, different jackets, jackets on and off, jewelry, twinkle lights, etc... and then we got there and sunk into this weird snow/gravel mixture and suddenly the biggest issue became how to get Cala from spot to spot in her vans and ankle socks... I was so worried she would get frostbite or lose a toe! Luckily, her dad gave her a piggy back ride from spot to spot. Not quite how I envisioned this session. I thought we'd have a leisurely walk through the beautiful ice castles, ooohhhing and aaaaahhhhhing. I don't know how she was able to survive this ordeal! Except it's Cala and she loves cold. If it had been anyone else, they may not have made it!   This was so cute!  Her dad was trying to stay out of the way and was peeking out to see if we were done.   This is really what it was like at the Ice Castles, there were people EVERYWHERE!    ...
