Aidan's Senior Pictures, Bonneville Salt Flats

I love all the different photography I do. I have an extra huge soft spot in my heart for High School Seniors. It is so hard on the parents, they are sad, excited, apprehensive, hopeful and so many more contradicting emotions storming inside them. And the Seniors are so excited to be entering their last year of mandatory learning! It is such a conflicting time for everyone! This is my youngest, I am a little bit sad and a little super excited that he is a High School Senior. I really wish the time hadn't gone by so quickly, it seemed like elementary school was forever. And then he was in High School and that was a huge blur - how does this happen?? He didn't want to do much for his pictures, he really didn't want to do them at all...so I had to step in and come up with ideas. I had so much more planned, but he was not as cooperative as I had hoped!

We did Aidan's pictures at the Bonnieville Salt Flats, we were going to try and go there during Spring Break, but that was right at the beginning of the Corona Virus outbreak.  I am so glad we waited because we probably wouldn't have done Senior Pictures in March.  I love this place!  It is so interesting and different!

Elli, Senior Pictures

  I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. Tanner's Senior Pictures, Boulder

This young man! He is fantastic! I loved that he knew what he wanted and we were able to find some marvelous spots!  Look at those colors!  They were so amazing!   I did Tanner's  sisters senior pictures  a few years ago and these two are just wonderful kids!  I really love working with their family!  They are just wonderful people! I love this one! I just love this one of these two! We were done and on the way back to the car when I saw the sky and I was I like we have to do more!  I ran to my car, got a light and we did a few more pictures! I love this one! I absolutely love this shirt!  It is so awesome! Alex, Senior Pictures

  When I talked to Alex's mom, she said he really didn't want to do pictures and she thought the best thing to do was to do family pictures and then sneak some senior pictures in.  I don't usually do that, but I figured that she knew how he would be the most comfortable and what would be the most successful.    I am so glad that we did it this way, she was definitely right!  I hope Alex at least had a decent time, but I could tell that he was not really into it - maybe if I'd had another hour with him....  just kidding, I think that would have made him super anxious!  I just hope in the future he keeps allowing himself to be photographed for those he loves.  Because even though he didn't want to do it, he did a great job and didn't complain at all.                                                 ...
