Boulder Headshots, Ian

I don't do a lot of headshots. Most of them are done indoors and although I have the capability, I also have 4 dogs and that can cause problems. I always put them away, but they have a way of being over the top annoying! And really, I like pictures that tell more of a story and are more interesting than a backdrop and them. Now that being said - actors are fun in front of a backdrop! Because they are dynamic and don't mind being a little over the top with facial expressions.

I did love doing Ian's headshots, because they weren't just about his head. And he was just a very comfortable in his body person and he made it so easy!

I love this serious one! He could be a model with that look!

And just as awesome - his smile!

And this is one of the coolest things about doing headshots, I get to know what they do for work and sometimes personally. Ian helps build and maintain mountain biking trails! That is super awesome!

Tanner's Senior Pictures, Boulder

This young man! He is fantastic! I loved that he knew what he wanted and we were able to find some marvelous spots! Look at those colors! They were so amazing! I did Tanner's sisters senior pictures a few years ago and these two are just wonderful kids! I really love working with their family! They are just wonderful people! I love this one! I just love this one of these two! We were done and on the way back to the car when I saw the sky and I was I like we have to do more! I ran to my car, got a light and we did a few more pictures! I love this one! I absolutely love this shirt! It is so awesome! Cecilia, Andrew and their adorable children. Oh and a few alpacas. Franktown, Co

Photographing with alpacas has been sooooo much fun! They are just adorable, sweet and have the cutest faces! And this family made it so much more enjoyable! These kids are downright adorable! And full of such personality - I was in love! These kids! Their reactions to the alpacas were just adorable! There's a video on instagram about it too, I encourage you to go check it out! So cute! Those sweaters! They were so cute! Hopefully they were warm because it was cold that day! And out in the field with all the snow was so much cooler! But those kids were amazing leaving their jackets off while we took pictures! I personally would have frozen and just fallen over without my jacket! I love LOVE this light! If the kids hadn't been warmly bundled in a wagon, I would have thrown them in to the image too, but to make them get out in the cold was a little cruel. Tim and Rachel, Hudson Gardens

Tim and Rachael come highly recommended from the people who them to me. I always love these cross connections to people and then I get to see them through their friends eyes. I have always adored the people who gave Tim the recommendation and then hearing him and his kids talk about them made me more fond of them. Photography really is a special gift to everyone, including the photographer! Tim and Rachel showed up a little early to do just their pictures and it was a good they did! By the time the grandkids arrived, there was craziness all around! I love how these two care about each other! It was so apparent in how they were with each other and that just makes me so happy! Uhhhhhh.... trying to get 2 cousins who adore each other in movement is not an easy thing to get them to sit!
