Cesar

Every Senior Shoot is different. Sometimes it is the person - their clothes, attitude, persona, etc... For me, Cesar was inspiring! He had ideas about what his images should look like. He wanted pictures on a bridge, showing the cables and supports. Or in front of building with smoked glass. While we were photographing, I started to notice shapes and light more than I think I would have on any other day. I felt very artistic and creative that day!
I love the images on the bridge! The supports and cables are such a wonderful back drop!

This was one of my favorite stops. The light was reflecting off of a building onto this crazy painted drive way making these wonderful patterns. I can't wait to play more with these!

Cheeseman Park, it just wouldn't be Cheeseman without Yoga or Tai Chi!

They put water in the fountains! I couldn't believe it! I don't think I've seen water in there for years. And I don't think playing in the fountain is advisable... but we didn't read anything about it...

Avery Senior Pictures, Denver Botanic Gardens

 Avery is one of my incredible Senior Influencers, and she totally rocked her session! From the very beginning, she was ready to go!  Every pose I put her in, she made look amazing — it made photographing her an absolute joy. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for her session. Everywhere we turned there were stunning plants, colorful flowers, and hidden little corners. Avery looked so natural — it was like the gardens were showing off just for her! After exploring the gardens, we headed over to Cheesman Park to slow things down a bit. The vibe there was more relaxed, with gorgeous light. It gave us the perfect mix of elegance and laid-back charm, and Avery’s personality shone through every single shot.   This session was such a fun combination of vibrant and chill, and Avery made it all look effortless. Elli, Senior Pictures

  I was so excited for this session — my very first full Senior Session! These types of sessions are always my favorite!   It means I am getting back to work and there is always something so special about capturing a person right on the edge of everything new. And with Elli, I knew it was going to be a great one. From the moment we started planning, her energy and excitement made it clear: this was going to be one for the books. And it was — even with the weather throwing us a little curveball. About halfway through the session, the skies opened up and we had to pause for a solid 45 minutes. But honestly? Even that didn’t take away from how amazing the day was. The rain gave us a chance to slow down, laugh, and reset — and when we got going again, everything felt a little more magical - and the lighting post-rain?
